MBA Studio on Sabbatical until July
It’s the low season in MBA admissions; so time for a break and recharge of batteries. Other than seeing to existing / Round 3 clients, I will be on sabbatical until July. All blog posts, tweets, Business Exchange, and MBA Admission Watch updates, etc., will resume then. All free spot assessments and free MBA application essay reviews will also resume at that point. This is the first time MBA Studio has been on sabbatical in nine years: the pace and volume of work now demands it.
From July 2011, I will again be helping Round 1 candidates for Fall 2012 MBA admissions. (This still leaves plenty of time to work on R1 applications, with deadlines mostly early October, but if you would like profiling documents to work on ahead of time — for packages B through D, see Services page — please email Lorna Williams at contact[at]mbastudio.net to sign up and get them.)*
If you’re thinking about MBA admission seriously for next year, may I suggest a good use of your time, other than b-schools research, would be to read MBA Admissions Strategy (2e). For international applicants I recommend The Book Depository, which will mail a book most places in the world for free.
If you would like to reserve a place in the MBA Admissions Studio for the Fall MBA application season, please email contact[at]mbastudio.net to do so. As in the past, services are offered on a first-come-first-served basis until my reasonable “bandwidth” limitations are reached — MBA Studio does not over-commit, nor does not employ adjunct consultants. You get the top expertise around here, no alternatives, no compromises. -Avi
* Footnote: Early signup for next admissions season requires a 10% deposit. If you sign up between now and July 2011, MBA Studio will also mail you a free copy of “MBA Admissions Strategy”.
